1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Helix app and website, provided by [LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS] [COMPANY NUMBER] (“we”, “us”). By using Helix you agree to them. Please also read the privacy policy.

You must be 16 or over to use Helix. Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies.

2. Subscriptions

• Helix costs £79.99 a year or £4 a week, including VAT. Prices may differ outside the UK.
• Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancel in your iPhone’s Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Restore a purchase on a new phone in Settings › Subscription › Restore purchases.

3. Free trial and codes

New subscribers get 14 days of everything, free, with no card needed. Coaches can offer a 30-day trial through their own link. Nothing is charged unless you choose a subscription. One trial per person.

Codes from coaches are redeemed in Redeem a code. Coach codes are personal and must not be resold.

4. Refunds

Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Not medical advice

Helix is a wellbeing and training app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Scores, plans, nutrition estimates and Helix AI replies are estimates from consumer devices and may be wrong. Speak to a health professional before starting a new training or nutrition programme, especially if you have a health condition, an injury, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. In an emergency call 999.

6. Groups and acceptable use

Groups are for encouraging each other. You agree not to harass or threaten anyone; post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content; share someone else’s personal or health information without permission; promote dangerous training, extreme dieting or self-harm; impersonate anyone; or spam.

Long-press a post or member to report or block. We act on reports within 24 hours and may remove content, remove someone from a group, or suspend accounts. You keep ownership of what you post, and give us a licence to store and show it to your groups for as long as it stays up.

7. Intellectual property

Helix, its software, design and name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app. Share cards you export may be shared freely for personal use.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking these terms; Helix is for personal use, so we are not liable for business losses.

9. Ending and changes

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account › Delete account. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we change these terms significantly we’ll tell you in the app first.

10. Law and contact
