Delete your account.

You can delete your Helix account at any time, in the app or by email.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Helix and go to Settings › Account › Delete account.
  2. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

This deletes your account and everything we hold on our servers, removes you from your groups and revokes Sign in with Apple. Data on your phone goes when you delete the app. Your Apple Health data is not affected.

Cancel your subscription too

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription, because Apple manages payments. On your iPhone, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, choose Helix and tap Cancel Subscription.

Can’t open the app?

Email support@helixapp.co.uk from the address you signed up with, or tell us that address if you used Sign in with Apple’s relay. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete the account and reply when it’s done, within one month as UK data protection law requires.

What happens to your data

  • Account, profile, groups, posts and shared summaries: deleted with your account. Database backups are overwritten within 7 days.
  • What you shared with a group: removed with your account.
  • Reports and moderation records: kept for 12 months, then deleted unless needed for a legal claim.
